Hi all, it’s Uncle Imad. Every student asks me the same thing before their test: “What if I mess up?” So here’s what I tell them, every single time.

1. Relax

Take a breath before you even start the car. A tense driver makes small mistakes big ones. You’ve got this.

2. Show that you can drive

Not for the assessor, for yourself. You already know how. Just drive the way you know how to drive.

3. Do your job

You’ve driven for months and months to get here. This is the day you just do what you’ve already been doing. Nothing new, nothing extra.

4. Let the assessor do their job

Don’t watch them, don’t try to read their face, don’t second-guess every move because you think they’re judging it. They’re just doing their job, you focus on doing yours, and be happy while you do it.

5. Be confident. Be reliable. Be aware of your surroundings.

Those three things together are what safe driving actually looks like. That’s what gets you through.

6. Just do it. You deserve to pass.

Show it, do it, act it, win it. You’re the winner today. 🏆🥇🏅

Congratulations in advance on your win. 👏😄
